“Inferno” Made in Italy Bomber Jacket 3/3 — Florence Chapter
Garment 3/3 of the Italy Series —
Based on Federico Zuccari’s rare “Dante’s Inferno” Illustrations
Fully Reversible Design (Zuccari Print Outer / Golden Earth Lining)
Signature Roughcut Patches featuring Inferno figures & scenes
2x Bomber Pockets + Secure Zip Chest Pocket
Elastic Cuffs & Waistband
‘Made in Italy’ Label stitched into lining
All interior fabrics and hardware sourced directly in Florence
So this is the Florence chapter — the final part of the Italy Travel Series. This garment was made entirely in Firenze, inspired by the depth of Dante’s Inferno and the haunting detail of Zuccari’s ink work. I spent several days moving through the city, sourcing materials locally, exploring the Uffizi, and carefully planning each patch and panel before finally setting up to sew.
The reversible construction lets you wear the jacket as a visual homage to 16th-century hellscapes, or flip it inside out to reveal warm golden tones stitched with Inferno relics — like carrying an ancient manuscript on your back.
Sewn, filmed, and documented in Florence.
Made on Italian soil. With love, fire, and a sewing machine.
